I almost had a baby today…

Except not really lol I wasn't planning on having any cervical checks this pregnancy, but had to have one today due to a labor scare. I'm 2 cm dilated, which is crazy as I was never dilated with my first until labor. My contractions were 2 minutes apart for about 40 seconds each. I was in so much pain (I had my first without any pain medication) but it all just fizzled out about an hour after getting to my midwife's. I'm glad because he still need to keep cooking! I'm only 36 weeks.
