my man is more invested in my future than me...
and wants me to start writing things I can put in a resume. One of the things he wants me to start doing is blogging.
Okay, so okay-
Here's why I'm uncomfy with this rn. I don't want to become some prolific (ha, I'm reaching for the stars here) black writer and not like be "black enough". Adopted by white parents kinda did a number on my quote on quote black-esteem.
But I also really want to mix my love of analyzing movies/media and sociolinguistics and maybe even physics with complicated intersections of race, gender, sexuality???
I don't know. I'm just kinda rambling. If I ended up blogging, do you think my voice is good enough to listen to?
