I'd say these where 'false labour'/ pre-labour.. I had contractions like these the other night some 2/3 minutes apart and others 7/8 minutes apart, they where painful put didn't get worse and slowly died off after around 3/4 hours of having them. Keep timing them though and see if they regular to 2-5 minutes apart and lasting around 60 seconds each. Good luck!
