HELP, ADVICE?

So I'm 39 weeks pregnant exactly, & since last night I've been having really back pain & cramps.. I was able to sleep through the pain, but now I'm in so much pain & I don't know whether to go to the hospital or just wait till It hurts more??? I had an appointment on Tuesday & I was told I was still completely closed :( 
I feel like I need to poop/throw up.. 
it's a 40 min drive to the hospital so I don't want to go for nothing. 
Any advice will work. Thank you

The pain/discomfort could be contractions. Try timing them & when they're pretty regular (4-5 minutes apart) call your L&D or just go straight in ( better to be safe than sorry). Go with your gut. It's almost "go time" for you. Good luck!

Back pain is usually baby getting engaged. I've been fully engaged 3 weeks though so means little other than she's in position.

When I was having prodromal labor, L&D told me to take Tylenol for the pain. If it helps, it's not labor, and if it doesnt, it is
