I have a question😊

So I'm trying to dye my hair but I recently went swimming on the 18 (my Birthday)☺️ and as many may know, the swimming pool has bleach in it. And my head was ALL up the pool😂 head to toe. And right now my hair is crochet braids so for the one who are familiar with crochet braids you know that you hair is in braids underneath weave and I washed it when I got home and my mom says she don't think I really got in there to get all the bleach out. And she also think that if I put bleach and dye into my hair my hair might fall out. But I want to dye it sooooo bad, it's brown now but I want it burgundy. On the box it's says wait 24 hours if you wash it, but I have school Monday and I'm getting it done from the salon. So I want it a new color but it says to wait. I was thinking what if I just run it under some water? Would it work?
