Dreaming about ex. It's making me miss him.

So my ex and I have been broken up for over a year now and we both are in relationships. His is fairly knew and mine is 11 months. Well last night out of the blue I had a dream about my ex. I was at some resort or something and I was sitting on a couch texting my boyfriend and I saw my ex's sister. She came to talk to me and then left, then my ex came out of a dinning room that was right in front of me, I just kept looking at my phone and he walked away. Then he came back looked at me and said he still loves me. I started yelling at him screaming and crying and said "you can't fucking do this now! Not when I'm with my boyfriend now, you should of said this when I was with you. I'm not going to leave my boyfriend, someone who actually loves me and shows it, I can't do that to him. Go love you're girlfriend she's absolutely gorgeous why don't you just be with her!" Then he started crying and I woke up. I know most dreams have a meaning but idk what this could mean and it's made me have such a bad day. I loved this guy so much but he hurt me so bad that I don't anymore but this dream messed with my head.
