What will your baby wear to daycare?,

My husband has a son from a previous relationship. I was showing him all of the cute things I picked up for baby girl (outfits like the one in the picture) and he said that his son always went looking like a model to daycare not in some lazy outfit.
There will be days that she's more dressed up than this but do you guys think its sloppy looking? If I was to sit in a swing or whatever they do all day I'd prefer to be in soft stretchy stuff.. 
With his son I used to deck him out for daycare but he was the only one dressed like that and I realized I don't even get to enjoy him in these expensive stuff.

It's a baby does it matter? My son wore one piece pjs all winter when he went. He was only like 5 months old so I doubt anyone cared. Now he usually wears a onesie and some pants. Do they always match? Nope. Do I care that today he went in a collared onesie and sweatpants and bright blue socks? Not at all. I doubt the other one year olds are going to judge him. If some parents judge him I really don't care. When he is older I'll make sure he knows how to put together an outfit but for now for daycare I grab what is clean and fits the weather outside.

He's not a damn model, he's not going on a job interview, what's with the need for expensive fancy clothing for DAYCARE!?! Your husband needs to get over himself. That outfit is adorable and looks very comfy for baby.

I would just do comfortable. I dress my son in onesies a lot still and he is a year and 5 months.. (He likes to stick his hands in his diaper so I have to dress him to where that isn't easily accessible lol)

But he has been going since he was about 6 months old and somehow these kiddos ALWAYS get messy at daycare so I just dress him in the onesies and comfortable clothes.

My daughter started daycare at 3.5 months and I always went for practical and comfortable. Especially once they are mobile they get dirty and worn. And that's the way it should be! They can still look cute! And you will still have special nice clothes for other occasions.

Yeah, I mean all the other babies would be absolutely outraged if your's turns up in anything but Prada, Gucci or Dolce & Gabbana(!) They're children - they don't care as long as they can play and get messy! They have enough of a time fitting in when they're older with other kids, why be so concerned about it now?! It's like when people used to say to me at school (going back a way now lol) "why don't you wear make up?". Uh, I'm at school not some couture fashion show, why should I make that kind of effort to sit in a classroom all day and then go home. Babies look cute in anything, why take so much time and effort making them look like a 'model' for them to a) not care, b) have none of their peers care and c) probably end up getting messy anyway.

That's perfectly fine! He should never compare his child to yours, that's a big no no. My fiance has 4 kids prior to meeting me. He knows if he compares his children to our new baby that's coming that's really rude. I think that outfit is cute! Plus, it'll get dirty and they'll grow out of it so there's no reason to spend big bucks on some fancy outfits
