Gallbladder issues anyone else???

I have had a lot of issues since about 14 weeks like abdominal pain, nauseous, dizzy, light headed, back pain, chest pain just about anything you can think of I've had happen too me. I'm not 100% if any of those things had anything to do with my gallbladder but it's been missisrable. On Monday 9-26-16 I went to the ER because I felt like I was having a heart attack. They took me in for an ultrasound and found my gallbladder loaded with gallstones. They said I wouldn't have to have it removed unless I got deathly sick especially when im pregnant. Well tonight around 10:00 pm i was just lying down and started having excruciating pain in my back and stomach. I tried to go take a warm bath and nothing was helping it just became more intense. I texted my mom (lives next door) and husband (was at work) and my mom came straight over to try to help the pain go away and it wouldn't so she rushed me to the hospital. They've pretty much ruled it out to be my gallbladder and are wanting to do surgery tomorrow sometimes to remove it. This pregnancy has been so awful for me, I've had nothing but problems. Has anyone else been through this before? I'm so terrified that something will go wrong and something will happen with my baby. 😭😭

Prayers going up for you sweetheart. I definitely feel your pain but so far I've been lucky enough to not be faced with surgery. I'm living on Zantac and tums and having occasional flare ups. I leanered after the initial flare up that knocked me to my knees with pain that all 4 of my aunts on my dad's side have had gallbladder issues and had to have them removed post pregnancy. How are along are you in pregnancy?

I had mine removed after my son was born because I kept having gallbladder attacks regardless of what I did to solve it. Yes it does cause digestive issues. I can no longer eat dairy and often have to rush to the bathroom. It takes your body quite a bit to get back to normal. I had the pains while pregnant but I refused surgery until after my son was born, too much rush involved.

Your gallbladder is needed for your body! Don't be fooled by doctors who tell you it doesn't do much for the body and needs to be removed. Look into alternative medicine to break down the gallstones! In the end your body will do much better with all its necessary parts, including the gallbaldder. Try apple cider vinegar at meals and avoid fatty heavy foods until you can detox and break down the stones after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

If you are having gallstone issues you will probably get digestive issues after pregnancy. All my digestive issues happened after my first child, including gall bladder issues.

I had my gallbladder removed a year before i got pregnant. The pain is awful and does not get any better. If your doctor's agree to safely have it removed then do it because nothing will easy that pain other than removal. My coworker had it removed post pregnancy and it was awful to deal with a new baby on top of it. Then my SIL was at 39wks and doctors confused about her pains later found out it was her gallbladder but before c-section and cut her open to "look around" and found out what it was to get it removed. Save yourself the trouble and try dealing with it now. So sorry u have togo through this.

My BFF had her gallbladder removed when she was about 4 months pregnant and her son is a healthy 8 yr old now...God bless 😊
