Spotting

So, I'm a nurse on a very physically demanding unit and 2 mornings ago when I came home from work, there was bright red spotting (about a quarter size each time I wiped)... I went to the ER because my OB couldn't get me in. Blood levels seem ok so far (I'm getting them done again on Monday at the OBGYN), pelvic exam was ok, and they did 2 ultrasounds (including a transvaginal) but no heartbeat or fetal pole yet (I was only 5 weeks 5 days).

They said as far as they can tell everything looks ok but can't say for sure until we see my numbers have increased and get a heartbeat.

I'm just soooo anxious. This is my first...anyone else have spotting??
