Gender at 12 weeks?

I've been going to this ultrasound clinic that does 3D/4D, she says she can reveal the gender at 12 weeks, which is in 2 days for me. Should I do it? Do you think it's accurate? Is it too early? lol I'm excited and really want to go see!

It's pretty accurate if they see a penis. A penis doesn't just disappear but I have had many cases of women come in for delivery after they were told before 15 weeks that they were having a girl and it came out a boy. So just take anything they say with a grain of salt. Good luck

I found out around 12 weeks with both of my kids, a boy and a girl. I go for my next ultrasound at 13+3 weeks and should know gender then. You might try at 12+5 or just past 13 just to be certain.

Me and my husband decided to do it!!!!! Now this will be the longest 10 days in history (as we wait for the test results) they also test for downs and a few other things I think so its a good test to do in my opinion...and it is very accurate. We won't actually know ourselves for over 2 weeks as we are having a gender reveal party so the results will be called into my mother! Aghhh I'm dying here!

From what I've heard it's too early. Girl parts can swell and look identical to boy parts are this point. If you're doing the ultrasound just to see baby tho, go ahead and have them guess! Just don't buy a bunch of gender specific stuff until it's confirmed at your 20w anatomy scan :)

You can go ahead and find out the gender but I wouldn't buy stuff until you have a confirmation. Either at a 4D place or at your 20 week anatomy scan!

I just had an ultrasound at 12 weeks exactly and she told me it was a boy. She was pretty sure, but from what everyone said on here it is too early and that he could still be a she.  But who knows. Good luck!

I would question it too much until 16-20 weeks, so it wouldn't be worth it to me. And, way too many stories here of women buying tons for one gender after an early ultrasound, only to be told the opposite. But if she's been pretty successful, why not? At the very least, you'll get to see baby roll around for a bit!

The nub theory is 94% accurate in wk 13 . If you have a great nub shot then its probably right. But I wouldn't believe it 100% till the big scan. I say that but iv bought a few girl things cause of this babys nub is super girly lol 😅
