Holding the newborn.

Kayla • 20 with the most perfect family. Blessed with one handsome husband and one perfect little chunky 9month old baby girl.
Obviously all the family and friends will wanna hold her when she gets here, but I don't want everyone holding her when she first is born. I am going to breast feeding and I don't want it to confuse her or to make it harder on myself. My mother in law is already saying she wants to be the first to hold her and that she will stay the first day with us. I don't want her there, I really want my husband and I to enjoy time and bonding with her on our own. Still up in the air about it. Seeing tons and tons of stories about babies getting sick from being held and kissed by visitors. I wouldn't mind everyone to hold her a few months on when she's bigger and has a bit of an immune system built up. Maybe I am just being too cautious after seeing the pictures and stories on Facebook. My husband and I are definitely not on the same page with this either. He sees no harm in it at all. With me being a FTM I think I'm freaking out over it but I'd hate for something to happen to her that could be prevented from the start.
