Military Mamas
I'm seeking some advice from military moms. Before my beautiful bundle of joy, I was set to ship off to Parris Island and become a United States Marine. I'm still on that path, but rather than active duty I will be a reservist. My questions for guys are these:
How did you cope being gone?
How was your relationship with your child once you returned?
If you went on a deployment, how was that?
How was your support system?
How did the custody situation work? (Keep in mind I am a single mother)
It's been suggested to me to simply wait and join later, but as it would turn out that is not an option for me.
