My period is late!!

I've never been late, maybe for like a day but now I'm 4 days late. This week I was sick so I've been taking alot of medications and I'm thinking it's because of that. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. I'm just over thinking and don't know what it could be. Any suggestions or similar experiences?
