"Coming out celebration"?

I need some opinions please. I have 3 siblings. This past weekend, our youngest brother told our family he is gay. Now, our oldest brother thinks we should throw him a "coming out" celebration. My sister and I don't think we should do something like this. We don't want to make a big deal out of it because We don't want him to feel "different" for being gay or feel like we see him differently. When he told me, I made sure to let him know that his sexuality doesn't make a difference to me. For people who have come out, would you have enjoyed a celebration of would you prefer that your family just accepted it and didn't make a giant deal out of it?
