How often do you and your SO have sex?

So my husband seems to think we need a break. He says our sex life is going down hill ( keep in mind I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago ) my sex drive just hasn't been normal, I can't help it. I still give it to him like twice a week. But that's not good enough for him and it really hurts my feelings. I'm just not in the mood and I know it's because my hormones are changing. But be doesn't get that.

No offense, but your husband is not being a husband. You're married and pregnant, your relationship should be well beyond sex. My husband and I are 16 weeks pregnant and have only had sex probably twice since we found out. As a pregnant woman, the last thing you want is to be touched. As a husband, it's his job to understand and respect that. If your husband thinks y'all need a break because you aren't having a lot of sex, he is not a man, he is an asshole.

My husband and I have sex really sporadically. Like sometimes many times in one week or going months without. We have been together for ten years though, married for five, AI I'm sure it also has something to do with that. But he would never make me feel bad about not wanting to have sex. But sex is kind of more complicated for us because I was sexually abused by my brother as a child, so it's been a point of cornering sir a long time. Luckily my husband is like the most thoughtful and understanding person, and doesn't pressure me or make me feel bad. We did couple costing a few times which helped us with stuff too. From that we realized a lot of the lack of sex has to do with a more general lock of intimacy from unresolved emotional stuff.

Some weeks we will have sex 3 or 4 times and others we have sex maybe once. It just depends. We find intimacy in other ways though, sex isn't a HUGE deal to us.

I wish there was an easy way to get men to understand about how hormones work. You can't control it. The hormones are in control now. It's not your fault at all. He needs to look at the bigger picture and realize that your body is doing a lot of work to bring life into this world. It's only temporary and he will get his old sex life back eventually. But he needs to be patient. Sex is not The only thing that can connect a couple emotionally and intimately. Unfortunately, for men, many times sex is the easiest way for them to connect to you. So, if you can try to explain this to him, and just ask him to be understanding and patient with you, that may actually turn into the sexiest thing that he could do for you. Maybe try to find some other ways to make him feel loved and special. I was in the same boat with a low sex drive during my pregnancy and for about a year afterward… My fiancé was just amazing about it and when my sex drive returned, remembering how awesome he was and patient, made me want him even more.

Same here. I found out about 3 weeks ago as well and I'd say we have it about 1-2 times a week. Personally (though some won't agree) I let him watch porn. He gets what he wants when I'm not feeling it.

It depends, we can go 2 weeks before I start getting a little crazy because I need to feel wanted, or we could go 3/4 times in a week. Unfortunately DH was circumcised later in life due to BXO and so if we BD two days in a row he's out for a week due to soreness.

I'd say 2 times a week, on average. We both work full time and we have 3 little boys. We made time to kiss and hug and touch every day though. It's important to connect.
