Strange popping sound in belly!? Don't feel it only hear it.

Question

Has anyone else heard a random pop sound from their belly? I didn't feel anything. It's not painful or anything. I only heard it. I'm 39 weeks. It's happened a few times now. Any ideas as to what it is?

I had it with my first and this time my doctor said it's tiny air bubbles actually popping it's weird you can actually hear it on the outside like he's playing with bubble wrap in there

I have been hearing/feeling that same popping/ crackeling noise for a while. I feel it more up by my ribs when I take a deep breath.

I asked my doctor about it,  she tested me to see if my water broke and it hasn't... She was confused and place her hands on belly waiting for my baby girl to move or anything. She felt the pop,  it's the baby joint :)

I've had it for months. I believe it's a little hip or ankle clicking. Midwife assured me they'll check baby over after birth and monitor any clicky joints. Chances are it'll pass once baby isn't squished up anymore and is able to extend armies and leggies properly.

This happened to be the other day. Almost all day it felt and sounded like bubble wrap popping everytime I leaned forward. But I haven't heard it since.

This just happened to me while going pee! I know it was for sure not my water breaking lol

I heard this for the first time ever about 2 days ago and apparently it's babies joints. I'm on baby no4 and never heard it before 😊

If it's like a popping/cracking kind of sound I was hearing it also and my doctor told me that we are able to hear the baby's joints pop, their joints are loose getting ready to squeeze out of the birth canal..

Normally, as far as I know,  a "pop" inside ur belly,  that late in pregnancy, can only mean ur water broke...
