Curious!!

Just curious what happens to other moms when going on maternity in other countries. I live in Canada and we get paid maternity leave for a year! Also what happens if you get laid off??? Does the government not give you ei to help out until you can find another job?? Here if your laid off you get help from the government! I think that's how it should work everywhere
