Is laying on your tummy bad for your baby?

Sometimes I don't feel comfortable laying on my back or on my side anymore.. And for 21w, my bump is not all that big so I can still lay on my tummy comfortably. But is it bad for the baby? My hubby keeps telling me not to do it lol..

I sleep semi on my tummy and I'm 24 weeks and have a belly. Your fine. My doctor said as long as it doesn't hurt you are fine. Same with sleeping on your back. He said as long as you are not getting light head your fine. So it really just ends up as listen to your body. Your body will tell you when you can and can't do things anymore.  Sleep on that belly as long as you are comfortable. And get your sleep!!!

Ur body WILL,let u know when u should no longer lay on ur belly.  Those being my obgyns words. I slept on my belly til 29 weeks and at about 30 it started hurting me and feeling weird. So I stoped..I'm 39 weeks and about to pop. My daughter is developing on time and everything looks perfect.

It's just uncomfortable. I have never had a doctor or child ed class tell me it was unsafe. Most women just find it uncomfortable.

The only thing I have been warned about is laying flat on your back...they say something about a nerve or vein can be pitched which can cause lose of breathe or oxygen to the baby.

I laid on mine all the way to 37 weeks. Would have made 40 most likely but I was induced.

Nope I only lay on my belly... as long as it doesn't hurt it is 100% safe to baby and safer than sleeping on your back in the 3rd trimester.

I slept on my stomach for most of both pregnancies too, til about 30-35wks and no issues whatsoever! Honestly sleeping on my milk-filled breastisses post partum was more uncomfortable 😣 lol
