first ultrasound gender prediction myth?

Has anyone else read that you can tell if it's a boy or girl by the placement of the placenta from the first ultrasound?

The things I've read say that if the placenta is on the left, it's a girl, and the right, it's a boy.

Anyone else heard of this? And if so... anyone guess correctly based on this? I'm so anxious to know but I'm only 10 weeks! Just curious if anyone else has had success with this "guessing" approach

That's all BS.. ur 10 weeks, u should get the blood test..such as Harmony test. It's 99.9% acurate and u can take it anytime after 10 weeks.

I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and my placenta was on the left and I am having a girl so it was right for me!

Well mine is posterior so does that mean I'm having an alien?

None of these are fact. Yes it will be true sometimes because it's only got 2 options. Boy or girl. So sometimes it will be right. Same with the gender charts, the symptoms, and all that nonsense but you won't get a clear answer unless you do the blood test or get your anatomy scan
