What is your child's name? Do you have an unusual name yourself? How did you feel about your name growing up?
I'm thinking of creating names for my twins but I don't want them to get teased for having unusual names so would like to hear of your experiences...

My daughter's name is ember! It seems to fit her well, she's got a little sound but she's a sensitive child. Can't find her name on anything souvenir wise lol but I love it. Even people that have known us a while though still call her amber. And it's very annoying

Omg make sure it's easy to pronounce because when all your teachers constantly mispronounce your name that shit is embarrassing. Otherwise it's cool having a unique name because everyone's like oh that's a nice name I've never heard it before haha

My name is Shanylka. Pronounced sha-nil-ka. Honestly, when I was younger and living in Puerto Rico , my name was normal because in Puerto Rico very one had unique names. When I came to the United States, however, people stated teasing me and they would call me sha-milk-a and it was very annoying. Everybody thought my name was weird and they would laugh and I would feel horrible and I've always thought about changing my name. Now, however I love my name and I think it's better to have a unique name that no one has. Even though my name is never on the key chains with people's name on it lol, I still love my name. Ohh and also my name is a combination of my mom, my grandma,  and my sister .
