maybe bloody show?

So on Monday I had my cervix checked and it hurt so much but dr said I'm 70% effaced and 2 cm. Today I woke up and had like a brown dot with some discharged when I wiped. After that when I went to use the bathroom again I had a lot more brown with discharge. Everytime I go to the bathroom and wipe there's a little brown discharge. Could it be my bloody show? I'm 38 weeks pregnant.

My mucus plug looked like it came from a scene in ghost busters and it just kept coming out. It was clear with brown in it and there was a ton. It sounds like you're just spotting.

Your bloody show will be sort of bright red mixed with clear discharge well at least for me it looked like that but the brown spotting would be from the exam

I had the same thing after my cervical exam. Doctor told me ahead of time though, it's just spotting due to the pressure he's putting on the cervix to check dilation and everything.

I had the same after my first check and nearly 4 weeks later, baby's still in there. I think it was just blood mixed with discharge.
