Dummies???

Question

Anyone else give there bubs the dummy/pacifier? Do u find your baby doesnt nap for long cause of it? And has anyone weaned there baby off it?

We use one. He loves to suck so it really helps soothe him to sleep sometimes. He's only 10 weeks so not sure when I'll stop using it. I'm not too worried about it

We use it to calm her down but she almost never falls asleep w it in. It falls out and she doesn't notice when she does.

We use one.  Sometimes we use it to help him get to sleep, but once he's asleep it falls out of his mouth and he doesn't notice.  Other times he falls asleep on his own without it.  I don't notice it having an affect on his naps at all.  Even if he does use it to fall asleep and it doesn't fall out of his mouth on it's own, I take it anyways.  He doesn't notice and doesn't wake back up.  I don't plan on weaning him off it anytime soon.  Once he's a year old, I'll decide then if it's time to wean.
