When your babies dad hasn't been to any off your scans or appointments to do with your baby doesn't even like to look at the scan photos hasn't even brought her anything for when she comes but thinks he can tell you can't name her the name you picked out for her when he does nothing for her !!

I left my son's father for the exact reason and made sure he wouldn't be present during birth and didn't know the gender. I cut ties completely when he told me that the baby was "better off adopted".

You can name the baby whatever you want. I would say compromise but since he hasn't been involved in any other aspect of your pregnancy then his opinion wouldn't even matter to me.

In general I think names should be a joint effort or a compromise. In this situation, sit and talk to him about how you're feeling; he doesn't seem interested which makes you think he doesn't care. Also that he needs to step his dad game up because not acceptable.
