Workplace relationship

I'm a Special Education Aide at an elementary school. I work with a male teacher. I'm with him 8 hours a day. Well I've known him for a long time. I've had a crush on him since at least the first day of school. We work VERY CLOSELY with each other. Today we were sitting on the floor with our kids during video time and our legs were touching. Believe me I NOTICED! Anyway, I had a VERY STRONG URGE to lay my hand on his leg......as if we were sitting on the couch watching a movie or something! I swear I ALMOST did it! Anyway, I really want to tell him how I feel......but I don't want to make work awkward or unbearable if he doesn't feel the same way. Help!
