am i being paranoid??

Been with my boyfriend for nearly 3 years and I've never been so in love. Moved in with him where he lives in the countryside where everyone knows everyone except me. Problem is I've been made all too aware of his ex who messed him around emotionally before me and even though he's with me and he's forgiven her, which is ok BUT she has never said a word to me. and whenever we are out she waits till im away from him and not looking to go talk to him! It makes me soo suspicious and even embarrassed because they get really into a convo and can last ages.. I've mentioned to him before that it looks like she's out to get him back but he says she's not and not to worry but, it KILLS me that he can spend aaages talking to her and with all their mutual friends seemingly wanting nothing to do with me, i feel as if im being pushed out and she's winning.... am i too paranoid??
