Insurance lost? what to do?

My husband just lost his job, which we had health insurance through. I suppose I'm just wondering what my options are. I don't know how long the insurance will last... end of the month? Is Medicaid my only option since I'm pregnant? We also have a toddler. I'm confident he'll find another job soon, but benefits typically aren't given till after 90 days.

go apply for presumptive Medicaid, you will get covered immediately if you have no income and are pregnant.

Look into COBRA coverage from your old insurance through his old employer. Unless he was fired for "gross misconduct", you should be eligible.

You can cobra the insurance where you pay yourself what was being paid by his company until you get new insurance, if you can afford it. Also a loss of insurance is considered a life changing event and you can qualify for marketplace insurance  (Obama care)
