Toxoplasmosis
Hey, I just read an article about Toxoplasmosis and it's really scaring me. It says I can catch the disease through cat litter and what it can do to the baby scares me so much. I have to cats that or 90% indoors, they only get to go out in my back yard 1-3 times a week with my supervision and only for 5-20 mins a time. They never meet any other cats and I consider them to be clean. I've been changing their litter on my own since forever, I've had cats for years. I'm still doing the litter now even though I'm pregnant, I have no one else to do it for me. I have to be honest, I have never worn a mask or gloves but I always clean my hands real good and make sure the area is clean. I do the litter morning and night. They live in my house and eat good clean food.
Ps. I'm 22 weeks prego
