breastfeeding "etiquette"

For the first time I realized I and my husband have different opinions about what is appropriate when breastfeeding in public. I think it's fine as long as you're not being obnoxious and trying to force others to look at your whole boob, but at the same time you shouldn't have to cover up. He thinks it shouldn't be done in front of others. I was offended at first but he said that if someone was to harass me about doing it in public he'd become angry and it's best to avoid those situations. I agree because I definitely don't want my husband getting into any fights if someone looks at me crazy lol. So we've kind of agreed that once we start going out with the baby I'll find a discrete place to nurse or bring a bottle of pumped milk. As far as family gatherings I won't pull my boob out in front of his potentially perverted cousins lol but if I'm at his parents house it's fine to do so in the open.
