Pet(s) keeping close to you closer to due date?

Hiya! Just out of curiousity, really;

Has your pet (or pets) been getting closer and more protective of you the closer you get to due date?

My little furbaby seems to be wanting to lay in the same bed (or sofa) as me constantly. Not that I mind, I love my kitty cuddles.

If you've already given birth, was your pet(s) being close an inclination that you were about to give birth?

Sorry, I know the questions are stupid, I'm honestly just curious 😂

Totally! My cat never cuddles but he's been following me around and napping with me every day! I feel bad when I have to get up because this is so rare and I love it :)

My adorable dog Dieter has been getting super protective in the last month. It's a little bit annoying, and a little bit scary to because although he has never bitten anyone before he's never been this aggressive. 😟

My male cat always sleeps with us but hasn't been sleeping on my side of the bed for a long time because I toss and turn. For the past 2 days he has been snuggled up at my feet against the body pillow. As we speak he has made himself at home for the night. I asked my husband if he thinks he knows something I don't.

My dog will not leave my side! She follows me everywhere i go! And has to sleep touching my belly every night!

My big fur baby (Clyde) always comes into bed to snuggle with me in the middle of the night,  this has been going on for several weeks now.  He also seems to always be sitting on the same couch as me and snuggles on me.  I think he senses we are getting close to something.

The other one (Cara) is my nap buddy since the beginning, she hasn't missed a nap yet.

Good point. My cats cry to come up to my room. They have never done with before but has everyday for the last two weeks. I'm due 10/20.
