When to be induced?

So my due date is the fifteenth. I really wanted to wait until he's ready before I get induced so I told them the 24th (41+2), but now I'm rethinking because I am absolutely miserable just because my skin is itching so bad. I can't wear clothes, I can't get comfortable naked, I've tried coconut oil cocoa butter lotion & cream, baby lotion, olay lotion, bio oil, unscented lotions, literally every lotion & oatmeal baths and NOTHING helps. My skin is unbearably itchy and I don't know if I'll last till the 24th, I mean of course I will but should I ask to be induced the 17th (40+2) if he doesn't come before then?
