Anyone else camped out in their living room with newborn?

I cant be the only one camped out in their living rooms ?
5 days old!

I am too! I haven't slept in the bed since we got home with her. I can't put her in her bassinet to sleep at night either. I still do Skin to skin.

I am also sleeping in the living room withy couch set up as a bed lol. Had c section and bed is too high for me to go in and out every couple of hours. I already have a system out here lol. Hoping to move back to the bedroom in a another week when I'm a little more healed up.

I will be staying in the living room the first two weeks because my room is down stairs and don't want to risk doing steps!

The first few days I was on the living room all day and night now I do living room in day and bedroom at night either way I'm cooped up on the house since she came home she's 9 days old today!

I did the first few nights at home. I had a c section and our bed is so tall I almost cried trying to get in and out of it. Sleeping in the recliner was much better for me. We're back in the bedroom though now.

I did!!! I slept in the living room with a light on (something I never do!) for the first month with my first baby cuz I was such a worried first time mother. lol
