Discouraged 😞😞😞

i am 37 weeks and have 19 more days to go. Still working full time as well and i am tired as heck. My doctor hasn't even attempted to check me yet for dilation but wants to induce me due to my LOs size. I dont get it but tomorrow i will ask her to check for dilation. And hopefully some progress because i want to hold my baby girl already. Has anyone had their doctor tell them they want to induce but no health risk reasons involved? I mean i knew i would have a big baby from the beginning but my doctor seems to think a 9 pound baby at my size of 5'5 delivered vaginally isnt possible to be done. I feel so discouraged and im not sure what to do btw i am a ftm so everything is new for me.
