Success with sweep?

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has had success with a first sweep done after 40 weeks? I am booked in for one tomorrow afternoon and I will be 40+2. I get strong braxton hicks and the odd twinge but otherwise no sign of labour yet. Really hope it works first go for me. So ready to meet my baby boy 👶🏻💙😍

Had one last week and I was already 2cm and it didn't work.

Had my second yesterday 4cm and waters bulging and still no labour lots of mucus loss but no labour or contractions

Had one at 39+5 and I'm still waiting for labor currently 40+3

I had one yesterday at 40+3, I was at 2cm & partially effaced... Which is the exact same I have been for 3 weeks. 24 hours later, still nothing. I was a little crampy afterwards, but no contractions.

I'm scheduled to begin induction with cervical ripening tomorrow afternoon.

I had a sweep on sat - I lost all of my plug yesterday and I'm 2cm dilated !! Well worth the pain!

I just had my second at 40+4. I'll let you know later, but I'm not even cramping. 😂

I'm 40+1 just had one 3 hours ago. I was not bothered by the actual sweep, there was pressure and discomfort but overall not bad for me. I have had a handful of contractions since, but nothing else 😔
