Contraction?

36+5 Last night at 2am i woke up in so much pain. It felt like something was pulling my insides past their limits i was clenching my blankets in pain it hurt so bad. I didn't feel if my stomach was hard. It lasted about a minute then went away. My braxton hicks don't hurt but this was excruciating. It only happened once. Was it a contraction? I thought if it was it would've happened more than once.
