birth control bleeding again?

So my first month of birth control I bled on and off heavy for most of the month before I got my actual period. I'm halfway through my second month and this time It was different. The last two mornings I've felt sick/nauseous and this morning there's was very light pink blood spotting ONCE with cramps and that was all I got today. Also two days ago I had used the pull-out method which has always been fine before.. I just thought it was weird that after that I started feeling sick the next morning. I could have just been really hungry and waited too long to eat idk. I'm sure nothing went wrong using that method but sick and spotting the timing is suspicious...?
