Baby Steps?

So I have recently just met my boyfriends daughter. She is 3 and she is just now starting to get comfortable around me. I was wondering if you all could give me some tips on creating a bond with her. I help with her when I am around and she's such a joy to be around. I'm trying to not force myself on her since I am the first girl she has ever seen with her father.

The more you are around her,the easier it will get. Try to teach her something fun, then practice it together and cheer her on! You are awesome for asking this btw! Kudos to you!

I would find out her favourite movies and shows and watch them with her. It's nice cause she won't be forced to speak with you, but gets comfortable with your presence. It'll start to build a foundation for your relationship to grow on.

After that, maybe go to the park together, and do things you know is fun.

If she acts up, quietly let her father know since it's not your place to punish or correct her and it'll make her upset with you.

Remember, she's a kid - fun always wins.

Just take your time, and she'll come around 💕.
