Do you have phone anxiety?

I notice my age group seems to have anxiety talking on the phone, myself included. If you do have anxiety on the phone will you comment your age as well as any thoughts about why. I have my own theory on it but thought this would be interesting.

I'm 20 and I LOATHE speaking on the phone. Texting or emailing you get to plan out what you say instead of needing to come up with a respond on the fly.

24 and I don't mind at all. I didn't get a cell phone until I went to college, though, and I've only had texting for about a year and a half. I was in a lot of clubs and stuff in high school and college where I had to make calls and organise things, and my main option for contacting friends was always to call them.

I do to a certain degree. People I talk to regularly (parents or partner) not at all. But even friends or my sister who I don't see that often... not keen.
When I talk on the phone at work I feel I use a different voice, so I'm more confident. But i like to wait until the guy I share an office with has gone out to make my calls. I don't like people hearing what I say/how I act on the phone.

I'm 20. I don't mind it lol I don't know why anyone else gets anxiety from it. I have an anxiety disorder too, but that isn't a trigger for me.

25 and it used to bother me a lot more talking to strangers on the phone. I'm fine with family/friends. Then I got a job where I had to answer the phone all the time, and then I got seriously ill so I had to call and make a ton of doctors appointments. I usually still have to take a few minutes to plan what I want to say, but I don't avoid calling (or drivethrus) like I used to!

I'm 26 but also have anxiety and panic disorder, so I'm sure that is a huge part of it.

I'm 26 and have always gotten anxiety talking on the phone. I'm not sure why. I recently told my husband about my issue because he would keep getting mad at me for handing him the phone for stuff.
