sick kids?

When should you take your child to the er? 
My daughter woke up at 8:30-9 perfectly fine. Around 10:15 she threw up a lot, 30mins later i checked her temp and it was 101.2. 
She threw up about 5 times so far. 
It's 8:30pm now and her fever is 104.0
I hate going to the er but that fever spiked fast. 
Even with Ibuprofen it's not breaking

She needs to go now that high of a fever can cause brain problems if not treated immediately i know you dont like the er but its not for you its for the health of your child so youre just going to have to put your feelings about er and drs aside

YOU NEED TO TAKE HER IN ASAP. Any higher of a temp could kill her, 104 is dangerous. Take her in immediately

Does you pediatrician or family dr have an after hours nurse or someone? If not I would take her in. 104 is pretty high. I hate going to the er but it's better to be safe than sorry.

She definitely needs to go to the doctor anything above 102 is dangerous especially for long periods of time.
