Still have stitches?

I had a 2nd degree tear. I'm 3 weeks and 2 days ppd and I still have 2 internal stitches that are driving me crazy.  My stitches were supposed to dissolve in 10-14 days.  Should I contact my doc or just wait it out? Anyone else have this issue?

My Dr. Told me it could take up to 6 weeks for my stitches to dissolve. I had 2nd degree tear as well

I'm 2w4d pp with 3rd degree and my doctor told me at 2 weeks I would start to feel more "normal", but won't be fully healed until 4-6 weeks.

At my 6 week appt my dr told me I still had one in there & I didn't realize it. She ended up taking it out.

I had dissolvable stitches in my chest a few years ago and some of them took well over a month to dissolve completely.

When I sit, it feels as though they are pulling.  Is that normal?

I am 2 weeks and 3 days pp I cant feel the stiches and it doesn't hurt but I think it has not dissolved completely cant dare to look at it😯😯😁

I just lost my dissolvable stitches at 4 weeks PP. Took longer than I thought.

Totally normal. I was told it could take up to 4+ weeks for them to fully dissolve. I also had a 2nd degree tear.

also worth having them checked if ur having issues. i have a 3b tear but if i have any concerns would soon contact midwife or dr x

I am 3 weeks and 1 day postpartum and still have my stitches as well 😞
