nuetramigen?

So my fussy baby who has only slept 3 hours all day and has been up for the rest cryinh in tears has bed. Switched to nutramagin for reflux? Is anyone else on this formula? How long did it take you to see a difference? She has reflux, is super colicky, she is sometimes constipated sometimes diahrrhea. She doesn't sleep always cries. If she does sleep she's whimpering in her sleep. I need help with my gassy baby! I need to help her.

I also use gripe water and gas drops.

My son had a Milk Allergy that was causing silent reflux and severe eczema. He has been on Nutramigen for about a month now and is sleeping SO much better at night and his skin hasn't been this clear since he was a newborn. His doctor also wanted me to cut out dairy but it seems like switching the formula was enough. I did cut out major dairy sources, such as milk & cheese, but don't go into every detail of what I eat. The formula is very expensive. My sons doctor wrote a script for it and insurance is covering it. I end up paying half price, which is cheaper than the Similac I was using before.

My daughter is 15 months old. She was on nutramagine since she was a few weeks old. She was projectile vomiting constantly and even threw up on the nurses before we had switched. It doesn't help reflux though but like the doctor said it should go away by 4 to 6 months. My 2nd daughter is 4 months and is also on nutramagine. She also has reflux too. Works wonders for milk allergy, but that's basically it.

Silent they dont spit up. The food comes up in their throats and they swallow it back down.

Nutramigen is for milk allergies. I don't think it will help with with reflux. My son has reflux and a milk allergy so he's on Zantac twice a day and we feed him the nutramigen. I would talk to your pediatrician. No sense feeding nutramigen if it won't help. It's expensive. It's almost $80 a week to use that formula.

We use it since she was 3 months (now 9,5 months) after a week she was the happiest baby ever!
