Marginal Cord Insertion?

Anyone else told that this is happening to their cord? I'm 29 weeks 5 days and now I have to do ultrasounds every 3 weeks. My OB said it just means I have to be monitored. Should I be a little worried?

I had it, the found it when I was 19 weeks. At my last check up (28 weeks) they found that it resolved itself! But there wasn't ever anything to worry about other than my little guy and his growth which was never affected

I have it and the associated complication of Vasa Previa (cord crossing or too close to the cervix). I have an Ob appointment next week at 32 weeks. I am suspecting due to what I have read and been told I will be admitted to hospital and have a scheduled c-section at 35-36 weeks. If I bleed or my waters break I have to go to hospital immediately as it can be fatal for the baby.

I have it. I'm 32 weeks and 3 days I just had my last ultrasound they monitor growth make sure baby is growing on target etc. I was told everything is good with my little one. So I think the monitoring was great for piece of mind. But it's more common than people realize. They'll also monitor where the cord is to make sure it's not in front of the birth canal etc
