does your vagina hurt in late pregnancy?

Okay so my boyfriend and I have only done the deed probably like twice a month since I hit like second trimester (I think he feels weird knowing there's a baby in my belly because he used to want it allll the time) well I'm 37 weeks now and I'm trying to have sex every day in hopes of bringing on labor! But ouch! It's so painful now :( lik even when he fingers me it just HURTS, and not deep, just like at the entry haha. Is anybody else like this? Or is it just becaus I'm not having sex often anymore? Gosh like it's not even enjoyable it just hurts
