breast feeding help!
I have a 6 week old little girl and she's had a problem latching since day one so I've been using a breast shield and trying to pump once or twice a day. My supply is either dwindling or evening out (can't really tell) but she's been very fussy and jerky during feeds or she just falls asleep. I took her to her pediatrician(gaining weight normally) and she was diagnosed with silent reflux and was given medicine but she was still so fussy and gassy! I looked today and realized she has a lip tie! I gave her a bottle as an experiment and she DOWNED 4 ounces and that was after nursing for almost 30 mins on both sides! Could it be my supply is low or the lip tie affecting the way she's eating? I love the bond ebf gives us but I hate seeing her uncomfortable or feeling like I'm not filling her belly
