What is the best period protection?

I haven't tried all forms of period items, but I'd like to know everyone's opinion on them. The diva cup freaks me out (never tried it) from looking at it I would assume it's difficult and hard to remove? I use tampons and alway have and pads at the same time because my period is so heavy! I had always hated pads until I found this one that I will always use. I've also heard that there's way to complete cancel out your period??? Feel free to comment!!!!!!!! 😬

I wanna try the cup. I hate pads and tampons they irritate me and cause yeast infections every time I use either one.

I use a cup. Best decision of my life (aside from marrying my husband of course). It's not hard to remove and not messy at all. I haven't had an issue with leaking. I can usually go through a super plus tampon in 2 hours on my heavy days (days 2-3). I can go 4-6 hours with the cup on those days and on medium days a full 12 hours or more.

I use tampons but always have pads available just in case it happens to be heavier than usual. The cup thing freaks me out. As for keeping your period from starting that you can't do if it didn't come their are reasons why not just because you didn't want it.
