Does your sexual partner have the right to refuse to wear a condom, even if you ask him to wear one?

I asked my husband to wear a condom and he said he won't because condoms "don't give him pleasure" while we're having sex. AND Because he isn't wearing condoms I have had two pregnancy scares in the last couple months, I know I have Skyla but it's not impossible to get pregnant with it in.

He has every right to refuse to wear one, just like you have the right to not have sex if he doesn't. However, obviously that kind of behavior isn't healthy or productive lol 
I would say, either look in to another form of birth control that you feel would be more effective, or if you Are sure you don't want any more children, maybe a more permanent form of birth control. In a marriage, you have to work together, and he has to be understanding of your concerns. I totally get not wanting to wear a condom, because they do suck, and why wear one if you're married...but YOU are the one who would have to carry a pregnancy, so of course it is easy for him to feel that way. You are the one who would have to give up a lot if your sex resulted in a pregnancy, and he really does need to work at being more understanding. Besides, my husband and I hated condoms too...so I was on birth control, and he pulled out... and the ONE TIME he didn't pull out, guess who got pregnant!!! So condoms are a MUST if you don't want to get pregnant.

That's nonsense. My guy had no problem with condoms. He likes one brand in particular because he lasts longer. He also has a weird color fascination. It's weird. But if he won't wear it he's more worried about himself than you.

So ladies, here's more information, he will only use condoms while I'm riding the crimson wave.. *so he won't get blood on his shaft* I have a long lasting form of birth control (IUD) but I'm afraid that I'm going to be one of those women who, unfortunately, gets pregnant with an IUD in.. he thinks I'm just being paranoid and tells me to calm down. He doesn't have much of a libido either, so 99% of the time I'm asking for sex and he's refusing to wear a condom so I'm then forced to decide do I let him have is way and let him blow his load in me without a glove or do I say I don't want sex if he won't wear a condom *and most of the time it's the latter* I don't like how problematic this has become. I just want my hubby and I to be happy together, with no surprises along the way..

Tell him I said his full of shit they make condoms so both partners are still pleasured during sex also if he don't want to use a condom maybe y'all should have a "do you want to raise a kid right now?" talk or boycott sex until he gives in and wears condoms again

of course he can refuse to wear one, but he can't be offended when you refuse to have sex with him. Tell him your concerns and if he won't wear one it simply means so sex. Msybe try a variety of brands and lube to see if he has a preference?

While he "technically" has a right to refuse, it doesnt mean it's morally right and not downright being a jerk about it. You have the right to refuse having sex if he refuses to wear a condom, so if he wants to have sex, he will have to compromise. Even if you are on another form of birth control, if you feel more comfortable using a condom and he should realize it and respect it. Safety should not be ignored just because it "doesn't feel as good". Either he has to respect your boundaries or not have sex at all. As much as consent is important using a condom is something that should be used whether you like it or not, if your partner wants that, because it not only puts him at risk but you as well.
