Military girlfriend/spouses etc

How do I you like being a significant other of someone in the military? Especially if they're active duty. I'd say our biggest issue is communicating, like not being able to pick up our phones & texts whenever we want and pleas. But besides that everything is great! I love it & wouldn't trade it for anything. My SO comes back from a year long deployment this month!!!
