should I waste my money on a clear blue digital test?

So I am almost 2 days late and have had period like cramps for 3 days, but no period. First response showed a very faint line today.. I would like to get a digital (it's very important that I start progesterone and aspirin asap due to two recent miscarriages  o that's why I'm impatient with finding out). From your experience, if I'm getting a very faint positive with first response, will the clear blue digital even detect a positive?
