Membrane Stripping??

so i got my mebrane stripped today im dialated to a 5cm does anyone know how effective that is got it done at 1pm?? or how fast that works?

I was 4cm on Tuesday and totally thinned out when I had mine stripped... some spotting and mucous discharge afterwards.  Had inconsistent, mild contractions that night.  Here we are, Thursday, no more spotting or contractions... just Braxton Hicks here and there. 😕

I am at a 2 and 50% I had mine done Monday and nothing yet. 
I'm thinking it's cause I'm only 38 weeks

I was one fingertip dilate when I had it done. Got my bloody show & it's been 2 days & no baby yet 😔 I'm getting it done tmrw again

With my first I had it done and went into labor thatnight! Had her 26 hours after.... I was in so much pain though! I hope you are not! I was only 1 cm dialated and she shoved her finger in there anyway!

From what I'm told when your dilated more it's really effective and it depends on your body on how long it takes. They say 24 hours from when it's done. I'm getting my 2nd membrane sweep done in the morning and I'm hoping for good results on this one. I was only dilated to a soft 1cm at my last appointment last week.
