help!

Ftm here. Currently in college full time and working while trying to deal with being a single mother, and needless to say I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm due the 24th with a girl. I went and got my cervix checked today and I'm only dilated 1cm. He told me he'd check again Monday and if I wasn't dilated anymore then they're going to schedule and induction date. He also informed me that my cervix is thick so I'm at high risk for a c section. I'm trying everything in my power to avoid being induced AND c section. I need some helpful tips and tidbits to naturally induce labor. And what I should expect and all that good stuff. Anything would be helpful at this point!
