Need some serious advice

Me and my boyfriend are 5 years apart. I was 17 when we first started talking and then we got more serious when I turned 18. Not only is that a problem (with him meeting my family) he's sorta my manager at work (Arby's). My grandma has seen him before and remembers him too. We've been together for almost a year (including the talking part) and he's even scared about meeting my family because of the age gap, because he is my boss,(which I've been looking for a new job) and also he doesn't want everyone's first thought to be "well of course they're fucking he's 23". I just need some advice of what to do 😓😓
